Funny, I looked intothis plane this morning. There are six reviews on Horizon's webpage for the P-47and all of them are positive. Use Google for more reviewsand there are a ton of Youtube videos out there too. Check them out,it looks like a nice plane. With thatsaid, I'd probably go withthe Top Flight .60 size P-47 if I had to choose today. Mike (MinnFlyer) gives a nice review you can find on Tower's website.

The Top Flite is a nicer airplane in my opinion. Much more scale, great quality and flys outstanding. Having said that, the Hangar-9 is not a bad plane either. It is less scale looking of course but it is more of a sport plane that looks like a warbird. If you want it, go for it. You will most likely be happy.

Colin G;

Here is a large thread previously posted on this plane, it is titled 'H9 60 size P-47 Thunderbolt-Build & Flying' in the ARF/RTF forum; I should know, I started it.

I wouldn't go as far as saying I'm a Lifesaver, Hero maybe, joking aside, all I did is demonstrate how great RCU can be in helping other modelers, it helped me when I built my Jug and a lot of valuable information can be found in the threads, good luck with your project; here's a photo of my P-47.
