ORIGINAL: Rotten40851 Is an O.S. 91 4 Stroke enough power for the hangar 9 P 51 bluenose? What are some of the engines you guys have in yours or somebody you know. Thanks Yes, I believe the .91fs is equivilent to a .61ts but with a .91fs you can swing a bigger prop. If you can get your hands on a Discontinued .91FX or the new replacement .95AX ts you could really get up there in the power, and it takes about the same mount size as the .61ts. If you get the new O.S. 95V I think it would be perfect for your plane. JMHO Hope I helped a little, I don't have your plane in question, but I learned from asking others the differences between the ts and fs and what it compares to. Pete |

RE: Bluenose
Thank You, I actually have a 95 AXbut prefer to stay with the 4 stroke in this one. I was a little weary that it would be underpowered but feel better now. She is a beauty!
