I have been flying trainers for two years, want a dragonlady with a 91 fs. is it a good plane, and is it hard to fly since I have no experience with low wings.

i suggest that you get a U-CAN-DO. it has good flight charactistics for a second plane from a trainer. i just got done with my trainer and i just bought a ucando. it is gentle on low rates and is crazy awesome on high rates. i dont know about a dragon fly. if you go with the ucando get 4-40 push pull rods and dont use there controle horns there are to weak.

You can't go wrong with a 4-Star 40 or 60. Very gentle, but will get a little crazy if you crank it up. Build the kit, only $70, and you'll learn the "insides" of model airplanes for future repairs. My second plane and wouldn't change a thing.

Been flying a Dragonlady with a Saito 91 FS for several years. A good solid flying airplane. Dependable and predictable in the air.
Mine weighs 10 lbs and will float in nicely for three point landings and handles windy conditions and cross winds well. Wheel landings will need lots of room for roll out.
I wouldn't say its would be difficult to move up from a trainer, provided your a proficient flyer with the trainer. Its just different.
I'd suggest a buddy box and have someone good with a low wing tail dragger take it up the first time so you can become familiar with it's flight characteristics before having to take off and land.

For years and years the best choice for a 2nd plane has been the Ugly Stick...any size.
Best all around aerobatic sport flyer ever made. (argueably)
If you want to end up with a 60 size the best of the bunch is the Hangar 9 Ultra Stick 60.
From mild to wild Ultra Sticks are hard to beat.
