Gee Bee 30cc
 

Has anyone ordered this plane from Hobby King? Gee Bee 30cc I was looking at this plane on their web site and it was listed for only $263.00. Most other sites the plane is $400+. I just wonder if its the same quality as the others listed? Anyone?

How is the "wood bad"?

I find nothing wrong with the wood.

Nor does anything fit poorly.

I can't speak to the GMP kit as I don't have that plane (I'll assume it's better built and it larger too 50cc), but I do have both flavors of the HK ones, R2 and this one, and find nothing overtly "wrong" with them.

Mine fit just fine.

The larger GMP looks pretty nice too.

It may also "have" to find a home in my stable. ;)

It looks like the Hobby King Gee Bees are made by the same company as some of the other places offering the plane.  I've had good luck with Hobby King and their planes.  So I vote spend less money!  Let us know how it goes and what you decide.
