ECOMRC/YT Scottish Aviation Bull Dog
 

Well I now have my Bull Dog.</p>

This is a Plane that I have always wanted but it has never been available, it is like the Old Mini, nothing special but has got loads of character.</p>

Something that is distinctive about this aircraft is the Canopy and Cowl, if you don't get it right it looks pants. This is right in both areas.
On checking the kit over I am very happy, well done boys.</p>

Taken some photos now will start on the build. I am going with my trusted DLE 30cc from Ian at IAD.

Wing Span is 86" and is suited for 26 to 30cc motors</p>

They look at about 12Lbs so will see.

Servos now recieved and should get motor Thu, I shall then start on build.

Well change of plan, I couldnt get mt motor DLE 30cc in time for this build so I have installed a DLA 32cc for an amazing price of &pound;195 from

Well installed no problems, the plug is going to come out from the bottom but I cannot get round that.</p>

So moving onto the radio installation now.</p>

Been doing a lot on her today, conrtol surfaces, radio.

Need to get her finished ready for the first Show at Westen Park in the UK.

Well painted my prop today.

Servos trays already done for you.

Done the front streeing cables and cut out the dash pannel.

Cut down the Rudder horns to fit.

I have put some throttle curve in as the power came on too qickley.

Well she has flown today</p>

Set the CofG at 100mm and she flys great on that.</p>

As soon as I was lifting her I could tell she was going to be OK, a few clicks of trim and she was sorted. Power is great from the DLA 32. She flys very smooth indeed yet very arobatic. Loops, inverted, stall turns and even tail slides. The landings are just like comming in on rails, flaps down and she just comes in.</p>

She looks very nice in the air, just need to put some pilots in.</p>

I am over the moon with this lovely plane.</p>

Stuey and me were fighting on who has the TX the longest, I won its my plane.</p>

Well as promissed video link attached.

The video doesnt reflect how much fun we had with this plane, both of us were taking it inturn to fly her. On the landing checked fuel and we had hardly used any fuel.
