How does this compare to the current Avistar?

Sexyer! Looks like a bolt on wing. Not available until Sept. On my list to buy.

I've always said the Avistar was the best trainer I ever flew and that I wished it came with a bolt on wing. I guess they figured it out. I'mm getting one for fun easy flying days.

There seems to be very little info available on this plane. I see it as a merger between the Hobbico Avistar and the Hobbico Nexstar. Note the single bolt bolt down wing and the slide lock landing gear borrowed from the Nexstar as well as the contoured canopy/windshield. Add the Semi Semetric wing from the Avistar and here you go. The landing gear on the Nexstar was a week point. I will be very currious to see what engine they are pairing with this plane. The Avistar RTF came with a bushinged .40 la and the Nexstar came with the bearinged .46 AXi. If it has the 40 LA, I will wait for the ARF. It does look like a square "Power Box" muffler in the picture so maybey it's an AX on the nose.
