any advise ? I have a DA 50R that I will be using (again ..lol)

Having both the Pilot and AeroWorks Yak I have found the Pilot to be a much better flyer due to the fact it weighs two pounds less than the Aero Works My Aero Works Yak weighed 19.8 pounds with a DLE55. The Pilot weighs 17.3 with the same engine. Two pounds in that size plane is huge. Plus you get all that cool carbon with the Pilot plane as opposed to aluminum in the Aero Works plane.

Chief has a 3% discount on anything over $250 until the 21st. Not much but its something. $65.00 shipping on the 30% Yak.

I am leaning towards the pilot yak... But I can't shake of my head the blazing wings model with pocket hinges and metal vents in the cowl...and is made in the USA per conversation with the owner.... The thing is that I have not found any reviews on it?

There's a ton of Pilot Yak's out there, they fly well, build well, and if you break them Pilot will send you the wood to fix them.

Its the one plane I've really regretted crashing.

If you're looking for something different, I really really like my Red Aero RC MXS-R and its right at 15.5 lbs with a DA50

Don't know if you made up your mind yet or not..........I had the EF 88" Yak and it is by far the best flying Yak I have ever flown. I still regret selling that plane. I replaced it with the EF 88" Edge which is even better!!!!:D

Pilot would be my next choice btw.
