Avistar Fuel Tank Replacement?
 

I have the Avistar ARF Monocote.My fuel tank split at the seam at the bottles' opening.Has anyone here had to replace this tank?Any suggestions on what tank to buy or where to get a new stock tank?Tower has a Hobbico tank that looks like this one,but it specifically says it will not work in the Avistar without modifying the fuse.This Avistar has the formers cutout to fit tight around the tank it came with.
I made at least 2 flights before I discovered the problem.I kept noticing more exhaust smoke than usual.And then it deadsticked too soon from running out of fuel.It was interesting.Soaked the inside of the plane pretty good.I cleaned up what I could,but can't get my hand up inside the front of the plane to really clean there.
