Does anyone know where I can find a set of plans for the Great Planes RV-4 1/4-.60 70in wingspan plans?

Bummer !!!

I have never seen the plans for the GP RV-4 ARF just an assembly manual .
To bad you aren't closer to NC , I could hook you up with a complete plane.

Almost none of the ARF's come with a set of full-sized plans :(.....I just picked up one of these ARF's myself - thinking of a .52 four stroker for it - your thoughts?

Do you have the .46 or the .60?
I would fly the 46 with a 60+ and I am going to fly the 60 with a 90 fs or the 120 fs twin.
Someone had to draw up that plane for the laser cutter that is why I am looking for a crashed plane that no one wants

OOPS, neither....I have a H9 .46 sized...My inventory is too large, or my mind is too small to know the difference between GP and H9 :)

60" wingspan.....a guy must have bought a truckload of them and is selling them on Ebay as that is where I got mine.

With that size span no less than .60 fs thats a lot of wing area for a .56 the extra ponies will come in handy if you get in trouble.
I have a Aeromaster biplane with a 56in span and I fly it with a .60 and it needs all the power it can get

I flew mine with a Saito 62. It flew ok. I spent a lot of time above 3/4 throttle, though. A 72 - 82 four stroke would be best. It's a big wing and not a feather weight. It is really easy to fly, will do most basic aerobatics easily and will knife-edge across the sky all day long.

Looking for canopy for 1/4 RV-4 from great planes - plans would be good too.

vmeek 09-25-2014 05:29 PM

Is your old canopy broke?
Can it be repaired to use as a mold?
I have a vacuum former

Canopy and hatch are lost - sons plane - he forgot two put the screws in! it fell off over the woods during a roll. Could not find - must be in a tree. I started a rebuild of the hatch.
