Flat Foamy 3d airplanes
I recently got back into R/C after being out for a few years and have noticed that it's very difficult to find 3D foamy airplane kits. They seem to have died out. The last one that I had and still have is the Sobre by E-flite, I think. Is this right or am I just looking in the wrong spots? I still have my Composite ARF 2.6m Yak 55SP but would like to also have a few low costs foamies to beat up.
Thx. |
Check out a Crack Yak from Twisted Hobbys. This Crack will surely hook you.

www.dwfoamies.com is where I get mine. You can also call and talk to Mike about his different models fly. My favorite is the Juka.

Thank you for the leads...

Techone has quite a few as well. The largest, a 42" Yak and 47" Swift, have quite a following. Very inexpensive, so they're really great when used for 3D practice! Low price makes trying new stuff much easier! They're built using EPP foam so repair is easy, and regular CA (or whatever you prefer) works fine. One of the Yaks is sold through Hobbyking, the others through Nitroplanes.

Foamy Factory has haulted his kits (job pressures). http://www.foamyfactory.com/airplanes-kits.htm
