Hey Michael, I'm not familiar with the Dymond but I just maiden my 78 inch Tiger Moth (Green Model/Pacific Aero) yesterday. I used an Enya 120 four stroke. Mine was a rebuild from someone else crash on maiden. They had used a small gasser, had problems and came in hard and pretty much toasted the front third of the fuse. Can't wait to get my cowl on and pretty her up a little more.

might have to get a 120 four stroke Iam still trying to put it together I have to rebuild the ailerons. The manual calls for A 90 two stroke. How is the 120 on fuel?

Didn't really pay close attention to fuel consumption on this flight. Since it was a first hop I only flew 5-6 minutes. Of course my normal flights are seldom longer than 10 minutes so a 14oz tank on 120s I've used in the past has always been fine. Also its very dependent the plane and flying style. Probably won't need a lot of full throttle time on this one.
I'll try to get a measurement next time I have it up, It would be good to know. |
