I was looking at this model and wondered if anyone put a 40cc twin in it? I have an RCGF 40cc twin I want to find a plane for and was hoping not to hack the cowl up. Think this will fit ok? Thanks for any help

I am still waiting on mine, but I am not sure about the 40 twin. The VVRC 40 will fit better with the angles peanut plugs. I was wondering if anybody else out there has one yet.

I did works beautifully. Flys like a kite. Lands like a feather. The engine Stinger 40 twin, a Swiss watch in operation. DLE’s choices weren’t many. Never had a Stinger engine. These are the new ones by the way. Very happy with the quiet and very smooth engine.

The VVRC twin cylinder gas engine is one of the best gas engines I've ever flown. Starts easy, runs smooth and powerful. I love this engine...
Soft Landings always,

Mine is a RCGF stinger engine. Don’t know that brand. But I am sure they are all copies!

RCGF is a decent engine and is similar to the VVRC and at one time was sold by Valley View, I believe.

Question for those that have built this plane, how did you handle the landing gear fairings that attach to the fuselage? I can't locate them on the fuse to mark for the removal of the covering without installing the landing gear, but I can't install the landing gear because the fairing covers one of the screw holes. Do I have to open up the gear side of the fairing enough to slide the vacuum formed fairing over the outside of the leg fairing on the wheel pants? Any photos you could post would be a great help. Hopefully you understand what I'm asking. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I did not cut covering for bare wood. I used screws to hold the fairings onto the fuse, and it has held up well. This is after perhaps 50 flights. The bottom looks as good as the top shown in the pic.
