The (Great Planes)Super D can be a beginners plane. With a good BB .46 engine at half throttle, its as gentle as a trainer. THere will always be that other half throttle to improve(your flying skills) upon. I should know. I learned to fly from a Super D. If it is a Great Planes Super D thats fully built and covered, offer him no more that $150. Price will vary from building and covering job.
