Redefining ARF's
One look at our new 71" Hawker Hurricane says volumes. I'll put this aircraft up against any other arf on the market today. This is not an advertisement, just showing what China is capable of under the correct management.

very nice now show me an aerobatic model!
|
RE: Redefining ARF's
That is awesome!!! What a great plane you have worked so hard on that I can see!! Well done it looks great.
|
RE: Redefining ARF's
Aerobatics have been done a thousand times over....why would you want another one one the market? There must be dozens of Extras, Edges, Giles, and Caps, out there already. Talk about redundancy.

We love Austrailia !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
RE: Redefining ARF's
I agree, I wish there were more general aviation models out there. I'd love to see a really good Warrior ARF.

Talk about redundancy. without smackin' into a "Cap or an Extra"....:D.... ...the "nice Warbird ARF's" are certainly coming into favor. Here's my "Fav.", but keep in mind....it is a small insignificant ARF.... Dave. :D |

RE: Redefining ARF's
Gotta agree with AJF-2 on this one. Besides, who wants to see icky glow fuel spread all over their beautiful scale warbird?
|
RE: Redefining ARF's
Icky glow fuel?
If you put a 2 stroke in it and run it on castor based fuel, yup I'd agree you'd end up with one incredibly gooey airplane, but stick a 4 stroke in it and run it on that mean green stuff and there's hardly any goo at all. Put me on the "I want one" list, the sound of a Saito was just made for something like this... if only I could figure out the RAF squadron it belongs to..... |
RE: Redefining ARF's
who makes that hurricane? ?....very good lookin arf........i got it now :)

RE: Redefining ARF's
Sorry I didn't know I had strayed into a war bird forum!!!!!!!

Rcpilet :
Explane your frustration with 72 and 76 inch plane, I just wondered. RCaddict2003: I need a 50" screen to veiw those picts can you reduce them and repost: Miloh. |

Canopy . . .
Does the canopy come painted, or would I have to paint it? Trust me, it's another hour of my time to paint it, and many of the new ARF canopies are coming very nicely prepainted.

RCaddict2003:
I'll bet you didn't expect that kind of reaction! KMP seems to have had a better reception in the Warbird forum. It really is a beautiful job and I'm sure you'll sell a lot of them. And don't worry about those gas-only guys. They're a fringe group. Jim |
RE: Canopy . . .
The Hurricane looks good. However, to me, 71" is somewhat an odd size for a warbird. You can't fly it in formation with the smaller 64" warbirds from other manufacturers such as Top Flite or Hangar 9 because it's out of scale. Also, you can't fly it in formation with the 80" warbirds because it's too small.

RE: Redefining ARF's
And don't worry about those gas-only guys. They're a fringe group. Got nothing to do with being a "fringe group" If I got to spend $300+ foir a Moki or else $400 for a Saito 180 I perfer to spend $374 for a Brison 2.4 which runs on less than $2 a gallon and is not a pain to clean up! Not to mention resale value. |
RE: Redefining ARF's
Speaking of rivet details, check out these rivets on the 71" span Supermarine Spitfire Mk. II by China Model Productions:

RE: Redefining ARF's
The detail on the spitfire looks nice too. Too bad about the smallish size. I have to agree about the extra 6" that would have made them IMAA.
Would the hurricane make a good electric candidate though? |
RE: Redefining ARF's
Very nice plane but one of us has the wrong idea on what advertisement is, but then so many things change so fast that maybe it's just me. Nice plane.

I'm unclear as to what you are trying to say, could you clarify please? Miloh. |
