Fun World 3D

What is the best engine for the Fun World? Any gas engines available that provide enough power without too much weight?

I am interested in this model.

Has anyone flown it yet, ideally with a gas engine?

Whats it like to build and fly?

Cheers.

RCS 140
I'm going to pick one up sometim this winter. I plan to use one of my MVVS 1.60 motors on it - they weigh 3 oz. more than the RCS 1.40 but swing bigger props.

Visioneer.

Are you running Gas or Glow MVVS's.

I have a 160 glow that I'm considering converting to gas.

If your's are gas what prop do they turn and at what speed?

Cheers.

Quantum Models sells the FW3D ( www.quantummodels.com )

There is a very long thread on this model in this forum... Search for it -- it is full of good information... If I don't say so myself (I started the thread :D)

There is also a review on the plane in the Magazine forum. There are four videos with the plane flying with a RCS 1.44 in it.

The RCS hovers the plane easily.

Jim!
