CG for Pazazz

I just got a used Hanger 9 Pazazz and I need to know where the CG is located. How far back from the leading edge do you balance this plane. Are there any other tips I need to know when setting up this plane.

Thanks Rick

RE: CG for Pazazz

Hi Trroscoe:
I have the manual.
The CG is 3 1/4" to 3 3/4" from the leading edge.
Control throws are:
Aileron Low Rate: 5/8" up and down, high rate 2" each direction
Elevator low rate: 1 1/2" up and down, high rate 2 1/2" each way
Rudder low rate: 2 3/8" left and right, high rate 3 1/4" each way
Flaperons low rate 7/8" up and down, high rate 1/4" up and down

Exponential recommended:
elevator 30% low 70% high
aileron 35% low 45% high
rudder 25% low 40% high

Hope this is what you need.
I have a Saito 72 on mine and has plenty of power to hover with a 13x6 apc prop, balanced to the rear CG point.
If you don't have rates on rudder...give as much throw as possible.

Tom

RE: CG for Pazazz

The stuff Tom gave you is correct. However I run the CG at 4" and expo on AILE at 65%.
