Goldberg Tiger 2 ARF
Has anyone had any experience with this plane? Is it really a good second plane?

RE: Goldberg Tiger 2 ARF
Yes. Extremely forgiving, yet extremely capable. Makes any pilot (almost) look as if he knows what he is doing. Best built as a taildragger. Happy flying!

RE: Goldberg Tiger 2 ARF
I had both the kit and the ARF. I wasn't real pleased with the ARF. The covering peeled off on the second flight, and the sheeting is real thin. Also, watch the aileron throws and CG or else this plane will be a handful.
Do a search for the Tiger ARF here on RCU. A couple of us last year had a long thread about making adjustments and balancing this kit. Scott |

I also have the ARF......I had the same experience as scottrc with the sheeting and covering, but the flying qualities more than make up for it.......I converted mine to a tail dragger this past spring after about a year and a half as a trike.

RE: Goldberg Tiger 2 ARF
I Had mine a couple years now and it is a good second plane. Never had covering problems but i did notice you have to be careful with your thumb picking up by the wing as the sheeting is a bit soft. (easily leave a dent) It flies great and has no bad tendencies. I had an OS Max .46 which powered it great. Hope this helps!
