Sig Rascal 110"
 

Hi I was wondering if anyone has put this arf together and flown it yet? I'm thinking of purchasing one and wanted any advice as to assembly and engine size. Thanks

i have flown one wiht a os120, a magnum 120, and a g26. all flew very well. the g26 had most power but had to move rudder servo to tail for balance. the os was next on the list. all had more than enuff power to fly and go vertical, os would unlim. vertical, teh g26 wouild hover it

AWESOME Plane. Easy build and great flier. Just put one together for a friend and we flew it last weekend. We immediately ordered 3 more Mon. am. 4 110's flying together ought to be neat.

Thanks for the feedback . I just ordered one along with a ST 2300. Sig tech support said this should fly pretty good with the ST on it. I wanted to go for the 4 stroke but way too expensive at this time considering the ST was only $160 through towers i figured i cant really go wrong.

Four in formation would be great. We did two. Warmed my heart to see that.
FYI- I had a saito 120 in mine. Would knife edge from one end of the field to the other with no problem. Lost it when the battery came unpluged. It came lose from its mount under the tank, then unpluged itself after a roll. Mine wasnt secured because I just cycled it. Famous last words, I'll take care of it after this flight. Never do that again.

we put a Saito 180 in his!!!.After we all said it is too big he still insisted. Now we are messing with prop sizes to get the thing to land. It just goes on and on and on at idle and will leave the ground and fly well at quarter throttle. Unlimited vertical. Mine will have the 120 on it.

Maybe a Saito 120 isnt looking too bad if I can find a cheap one on ebay or someplace else. Has anyone ran a 2 stroke on one of these things yet?
