Hi,
I just bought a giles 202 at my local store. I got it home and man it looked small. The box stated a 59 and a half inch wingspan?? I pulled the ca hinges out and they were so small they barely reached inside bolth surfaces I replaced them instantly. The wing joiner and box did not fit! I had to sand it tons to get it to fit together. then I measued the wing it was 49 inches. I brought it back to the store and got a easy refund from a real nightmare. What a hunk of crap and it was misadvertised to boot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never again will I try thunder tiger crap !! I feel bad for the hobby store having to get stuck with it but 179.00 for a model that should be 100 to 119.00 tops. Anyone else get one of these??

I have one, and when I bought it I thought it was a larger plane also, but decided to keep it. Installed a TT46 and it is a great little bird. I didnt have the problems assembling you stated, it went together very well. I love it, throw it in the van with the wing on and go fly the crap out of it. It knife edges great, fast when you pur it on, and lands rock steady. Daz...

I just bought a TT giles 202 1.20 size 70" wingspan, boy this thing looks great, going with a saito 1.80 4 stroke can't wait!!!

My experience with Thunder Tiger has been great! They must have been training a new guy who put yours together. At least you got a refund.

Well,
The new ACE sucks for customer service and they treat dealers fairly bad as well.
The Giles does fly excellent. It is real hard to justify the cost by size but it flies terrific A +++
I also love my raptor 50 it is no 1000 dollar metal machine but it is well worth the $$$ and flies very nice !

The customer service still sucks !
