sure flite planes

Anyone have any experience with Sure Flite planes. I know they are just foamys, but I'm looking for a cheap 40-50 size plane. If they are total junk I would rather stay away from them, but otherwise I might want to give them a try.

Thanks for any input,
Jim

They are very good flying airplanes. Very basic kits. Thay can be finished very scale like or thrown together quickly for a fun sport model. I finished my last one using paper bags layed down with thinned white glue. Painted it with spray bombs amd had a great time with it. I have seen some done with fiberglass and retracts that were outstanding looking and flying aircraft. Very strong and kind of a squint scale outline. You can cover them with a low heat covering but they dent easily. Buy one the price is right and have fun. I can tell you the cub and the Spitfire are great fliers. I saw they came out with an ME 109 I plan to but it as my next sport "scale model"
