Modeltech P-51
Ok, After a search, I have found no info this p51. Anyone have any comments good or bad? It is the only ARF P51 with the retracts included that looks half way scale for under $200.00.(40 size)

RE: Modeltech P-51
It seems to be a well built plane and comes with retracts and a real big spinner for a 40. I have one that I started and stopped working on when I screwed up the wood mount trying to fit a 4 stroke 91 in it. I can fix that easy enough and will shoehorn the 91 in because I don't think a 61 4-stroke will be enough for this plane and it just wouldn't sound right with a 2-stroke. I fly off of grass so I think I'll replace the supplied retracts also but other than that as I said it seems to be well built and the covering is real nice on it and for a mustang you didn't have to build for under 200.00 I think it's well worth it.

RE: Modeltech P-51
I used to have one with a Saito 72 in the nose, and it was an OK flyer. The wing was way too thick with little or no dihedral. There were some fitment issues. The rear stab was weak. The main wheels were too small (should have been around 3.25" in diameter). The spinner was big, but it was close to scale.

The quality on these planes is usually good . If you follow any of the electric conversions it is very popular in thet forum. I would try a hit in the electric area and see what you hear .I have the original 65" Modeltech ARC .It is a fantastic model build like I woudl have built it .
