What engine is this???
 

Need any info on this engine no markings except Malley an the cylinder, I do know its a 4.2, but what, there is no coil, can anyone help with this one??

Other than being a 4.2, it looks like the 3.7 Sachs I have. Your has no coil? Where does your plug wire go? The ignition parts (unless it's been changed) are under the large cover behind the prop hub.

That is exactly what I was told when I got it but didn't beleive the guy just for the fact it said mahley on it I've had other Sachs engines but none said mahley you are right about the ignition to I just didn't want to take it apart to explore

Thanks for the pics do you use yours?? it runs great,piston and cylinder sparkle just haven't figured out what to do with it, I do have a 1\3 laser 200 but want to put a twin in it.
