C.G. on a Hangar 9 1.20 Cap
 
I know what the manual states,but was wondering if anyone out there has flown it with a more aft c.g.?

It will take a slighly aft CG, but NOT ON THE FIRST FLIGHT!!!!!!!! Smaller Caps like to snap on landing you if you arent carful, and a more aft CG will make it do that much worse. Fly it on the stock CG for a little while, and then move it back slowly. Every time you move it back you need to take it up high, slow it down to landing, and make it snap. That way you will see how the change in CG affected it's landing habits. Remember when it snaps, to let go of the elevator. If you hold in elevator to get it to pull out of the dive, it could, and probably will, go into a spin.

Thanks Jack.This is actually the 2nd one of these planes I've built.That snappyness is the reason I asked at all about moving it back.My last cap flew the whole time at 5 5/8,with this new I needed to know if it would still be flyable at a little more of an aft cg.Thanks
