i have a 3rd scale model... its pretty big... the top wing is 66" , bottom is 65" and fuse is 56"
it looks like it might be a byron kit? could be wrong tho... anyone know this kit? also i need to know what engine this bolt pattern fits...... |
RE: christen eagle 2
Byron Eagles and Pitt's have foam fuselages.
I don't recognize the bolt pattern, but a drill bit will make any 35 to 50cc motor fit. |
RE: christen eagle 2
its an all wood fuse. so it must not be a byron... i have nop clue to what kit this was from.... the way the engine looks is the engine cylinders poked out both sides of cowl....thanks anyways....anyone else?

RE: christen eagle 2
In the vintage of the Eagle, it was probably a TwinTartan 4? or OS twin. Today it will cost over a "grand" to get a new twin. Why not spend $350 - 400 and get a new 38 to 50cc single and let the extra holes be better ventilation ?

RE: christen eagle 2
i might just do that but am hoping to get a twin used... but i will still take the advise into consideration...thanks
