SkyVista

hi, im new to R/C airplanes, infact i dont even have one yet. ive been looking at the hobbico SkyVista, but it sais that its a good SECOND plane. would it be way to hard to learn on? as a first plane? i would rather spend the money once, and if it will work as a first plane as well as a second i would rather just buy the skyvista, as opposed to a trainer, and then later a skyvista... any help would be greatly appreciated, also if anyone has/has experience with the skyvista, could you share some of your feelings about how you liked it or whatever?

thanks

If you want to get the SkyVista and learn to fly, spend $100 and get the FMA co-pilot from FMA Direct. www.fmadirect.com

Go for it!!!
If your instructor agrees, I have an skyvista and practically learned on it, with an OS 40 LA it flies smooth and it slows down for landings, I have given this poor plane roughing that others couldn't have survived, its very well constructed.

IMHO it is a good plane to learn with an instructor.

Patrick

A guy that I fly with has a couple of these...it can slow down to a crawl for landing. He likes it a lot.....he has one that he took all of the covering off of and recovered it in Monocote....looks great. Get lots of help if you're going to use it as a trainer......it's better to spend the money now on a trainer and get the SkyVista later than to trash the SkyVista and not have anything........trainers can be a lot more fun than you may think.
