LooKing for a ARF plane...

Hello,

A friend of mine intruduced to me the world of RC plane. I bought my first plane 2 months ago. It is a Vmar Discovery. The plane is ok.. Good trainer.

Now I am looking to buy 2 more planes for a project while I learn how to fly. I am looking for a nice ARF plane for water. and a Acrobatic ARF.

I am looking for something darn cool looking. And My budget for the plane alone is from 1$ to 300$ for each plane.

Thanks!

A darn fine second plane is the Ultra Stick 60 with an OS FX .61 and a 13x6 prop. With low throws it flies like a trainer, with high throws you can do most anything. Quad flaps, mmmmm.

I just came in from flying mine. All I can say is WOOOOOO-HOOOOOOO.

Regards and good luck

Just got a Carl Goldberg Matrix 40. Been flying nothing but pattern ships and
wanted something a little different. Looks like a pattern ship but with very
large control surfaces. It's advertised to fly pattern on low rates and 3-D on
high rates. We'll see.
Haven't quite finished putting it together yet but the quality looks a little above
average for an ARF. Wing is already joined (one piece) , nice covering job.
Room enough inside for any radio or engine combination you might want. They
recommend a 40 but this one's getting a SuperTigre Blue Head 60 with room to
spare. Looks like it's going to be light weight. Around $200.00

For the water, you can't go wrong with a Ace/Thunder Tiger Sea Master 40 for your first "wet" plane.

Do a search for Sea Master for all the details.

If you want a "float plane" as opposed to a "flying boat" check out the www.Falcon-Trading.com Cessna
