Hello all
I watched my Goldberg Ultimate crash last week. Only six months old; Metal part of pushrod to elevator broke at servo. Must have had a stress riser and it worked its self to death. What i need is a replacement. I have a Pica Bunker on the bench but I would like somthing to go to geather a little faster so I am considering the Cermark ARC Pitts. The big question is what else is needed after you buy it? Or is it complete with almost all the hardware. Also I am Considering the Lanier Ultimate Pitts too; I know it needs all hardware. Thanks Tom |

I have this plane and really enjoy flying it. It comes with all the nessary hardware but you will probably change some of it.
A couple of things. One the center cabane is wood and you will need to do alittle fiberglassing arounds the tops if nothing else to make you feel comfortable that it will hold up. I changed out the rods connecting the ailerons again not because they didn't work. I just felt more comfortabel that it wouldn't fail. I have a Webra 1.20 in mine and it will do anything I ask. You will need a perry/versane pump with the webra as the tank will be alittle below the carb if you do not mount it inverted. mine is at 90 deg. Any motor mounted inverted would not have this problem. If you wish to go gas beef up the firewall alittle and even though it says it will fly with a g-23 go a little larger. a 2.0 cuin gas on ignition would be perfect. Overall |

Super flyer with a Saito 180 if you can afford the fuel. It would be a hard choice between that and the DP Ultimate.

I am selling one of these with about 5 flights on it, you can find it in "Airplanes for sale". I upgraded all control horns and linkage and have a 24oz tank in it.

Cermark Pitts ARC
I purchased one from Cermark uncovered. Reinforced it where needed, replaced all metric hardware with SAE, covered it with polyester fabric, and painted it with Sig dope.
Looks good, and flys even better. Just flew it yesterday. |
