Rearwin Speedster
For months now I have had a Roto 35 gas engine sitting in the shop without a plane to put it in. I originally bought it for a project and it turned out to heavy for it so I never used it. As I was in the hobby shop today talking to the owner I mentioned this engine and how I wish I had a plane for it. Well, he pointed me towards the Rearwin Speedster by Kangke and said it would be perfect. He also had the Monocoupe but I was more inclined to go with the speedster because of the longer tail moment and the fact it bearsd a somewhat resemblance to the Piper Super Cub, only more attractive. I went home and thought about it for a while and guess what? There are now two huge boxes setting out in the workshop waiting for the weekend and me to start assembly.

RE: Rearwin Speedster
This is a quality plane. I've started mine and have the tail feathers all epoxied in. I'm going with the ZDZ 40 which should be here tomorrow. The picture on the internet doesn't do the plane justice. The one upgrade I made is to the wheels. With such huge wheel pants, I upgraded to 5 inch skylites. The one's they supplied are too small in my oppinion. Good luck!

John, Will the 5 inch skylites fit without any mods? If so, I may just do the same as I fly off of grass and every little bit helps. Besides, those wheels sure do look good on the right plane. I am putting them on a Challenger Pitts I have as well.

RE: Rearwin Speedster
Initial fit says they shouldn't be a problem. I should have the wheels mounted early next wek and should know by then.
