RE: Pizazz
This might sound crazy but here it goes. I had one of these planes and it was the best plane i have ever owned. I had a saito 91 on it and it balanced perfect. NO ADDED WEIGHT. the plane had unlimited everyting. I lost it due to someone turning on their radio on my channel. I MISS MY PIZAZZ
Have fun. Malin |
RE: Pizazz
I've got a Kraft .61 in my Pizazz. Too MUCH, but it's SOO FUN!. I'm swinging a 12.25 x 3.75 prop. I hardly ever go over 1/2 throttle and can rocket out of a hover instantly, Love it. My knock around airplane!

RE: Pizazz
My Pizazz hovers at nearly full throttle with an OS 50SX. I can see why people opt to use a bigger engine. I think the Saito 72 would be the best choice.

RE: Pizazz
I have a GMS 76 in mine (only spare motor I had lying around) I made a hatch near the tail and installed the battery there. The rudder and elevator servos are mounted behind the wing. I also installed pull pull for the rudder. I was lucky and added no weight to get the C.G. where I wanted it. I hover at half throttle.
I did cut out my own engine mounts after reading a thread with complains of the original mount breaking. This is a great flying fun fly. It replaced my Uproar after it was destroyed in a midair after over 500 flight. The only issue I have is it does not like to snap or spin despite my CG 2 inches behind the recomended. I take this out whenever I hit the field. Enjoy. |
