Help to ID Cessna 182 kit maker
1 Attachment(s)
Does anybody know the maker of this kit. I got it a couple of weeks ago at a RC flea market.
Now I'm trying to find a window kit for it but don't know the kit manufacturer. It has a 66.5 Wing Span. Wing is foam core and covered with 1/16 in. balsa sheet. Fuse is fiberglass with a bone like structure to reinforce it inside - it looks like a built up profile fuse running down the middle with normal formers attached to it. Any info will help. |

That's an old Sig kit from the 80's. The fuselage should be ABS, though. They haven't made it for many years.

Thanks for the quick response and info. I had a feeling it was out of production. The fuse probably is ABS.

I have to retract that. On thinking about it, I remembered that Sig's was a 150, not a 182. I'm afraid I haven't a clue what you have there. Jim |

jrf-- You were right the first time. I was wrong, just found one on ebay. It is a Sig Kwik Bilt Cessna 172 Skyhawk. Not a 182. Thanks

That's my first mistake this year. I thought I was wrong but I wasn't. :)

Thank you. I have the same kit that I was trying to ID. The wingspan is 66.5 and the fuse is appox 43" do the wings have struts?
