Bisson ARFs, anybody got one?

I just came from Bisson's website and noticed that they sell some ARFs. Anybody every buy/fly one of these? The CAP, Giles, and Suhkoi look nice.

Thanks!

They are either Phoenix or Seagull ARFs...

I found out that they are low-cost Phoenix or Seagull ARFs...

The arfs are pheonix.. Don't knock them till you try one..
I have the extra and the comet. They both are built nice and they fly excellent. The extra is beautifull looking and flying plane for the money. It has no bad habits at all. You can slow her down like a trainer and she shows no sign of snapping. Power it with a .46 and it will fly great. Flick high rates on and it's tons of fun.
Just make sure you add tail wires to it.

I wasn't knocking them, just pointing out who the actual manufacturer is. Just an FYI, in my e-mails with Bisson, they seemed very relucatant to tell me who the manufacturer is, although they were nice enough to point out which ones used iron-on covering and which ones had sticky-backed. Nobody that I know has a Phoenix ARF so I can't comment, but they don't seem all that popular in the states (probably due to distribution), and seem easier to come by in Europe, Asia, and Australia. Anybody know if Bisson's prices are OK on these ARFs?

I have flown almost every single one of them so if you are planning on picking one up email me if you have questions.

After further consideration, I opted to buy one of the last Kyosho Sensation 1400 from Tower (they were on sale for $144 plus $15 off since I also picked up another Uproar 40 in the process). I've had very good luck with my Kyosho Mustang ARF, so I didn't want to tempt fate at this point (all my planes are still flyable ;) ). I may consider one of the Phoenix ARFs at some later point, but I think that my next model will probably be a 60 size scale aerobat like a CAP 232 or Edge 540 (probably won't be until Christmas-time for that project given my last spending spree which included the Sensation and a Futaba 9CA TX).

Bissons ARF

I had one CAP 232 with Saito GK 72. Flew well. I lost the model in over a tree very high.
These models are very well done, light and nice finish.
They are made in Vietnam from Phoenix.
I put a thread about the fun-fly TANGO3 thats isnīt available in the site of Bisson but is produced for Phoenix also.
No replies.

PROMAG

check out www.hobbyhobby.com

I get alot of my supplies from them and I know the carry pheonix models. They can probably get you the tango.

They don't list pheonix models on the site so email them and ask.
