WHAT IS THE BEST .60 Trainer?

Hi everyone I have a question..
What would be the best .60 Trainer? I have A O.S 91 FX Engine and i called a hobby store and talked to there airplane employee and he said that engine would fit in a .60 trainer even though i would be running at half throttle. So again what would be the best .60 size Trainer?
Thanks All
Jon

My vote would go to the kadet senior or senior kadet, which ever is correct. I get to fly a few of them on training nights. They are sweet flyers and one in particular took a real beating last season and still looks and flies great. Joe

PS. One has a OS .46 (needed tail weight) and the other is a Saito .72 So that .91 would be perfect.

Are there any other planes except the Kadet Senior..Because that plane is 199.99..a little too expensive...

I believe you can get a Superstar in a .60, but if money is a concern, then I think that would not be money well spent. On the Kadet it would be the best $200.00 you ever shelled out. Joe

I have the Global 60 Hi wing w/ a semi symmetrical wing, great flyer. I use a TT Pro 61 w/ a 12-6 MAS. Can't beat it for the price, I think I paid 139.00 for it. Bill

I would say go with a nice scale airplane like a Cub or Decathalon. GP's 80 inch Cub might be a nice choice. A 60 will probably be overpowered but you can always limit the throttle opening. Make sure to keep idle really low or you may have trouble landing even at idle!

The Hobbico Hobbistar has a semi-symetrical wing. Looks like a big brother to the Avistar, which is a super popular trainer. It should be forgiving like a trainer, but much more capable of aerobatics. A .91FX is a bit much however, for any .60 sized trainer.

The Alpha 60 is a very nice set-up, but comes complete with engine and radio!

I don't now if your talking about the Global Right Flyer MK II, but it is a 60 size trainer with a semi-symmetrical airffoil and it WILL fly great with the 90. Only $139.00, and it's well made too. I absolutely LOVE mine. For what it's worth.

I know this might be a little late but you could also look into a Thunder Tiger Trainer .60, its what I'm finishing up now. I hear it is a pretty sturdy plane, then again thats just what I "hear"
