GP Extra 300 40, which engine did u use?

I have a kit which I have built and had a Super Tigre .61k ringed on it and it was more than enough. Now I dont have that engine and I am about to finish rebuilding it and would like to hear from you all that have this plane and what engine you have in it. And how it handles with it. I would rather over power it a little but not like before.

I have one about to get put together. I have a brand new OS46 and a slightly used Satio 72 Four Stroke. Im leaning toward the Saito but I havent decided yet.

I just put my saito 72 on my cub, I have just looked on tower last night and saw that on the arf an 80 4stroke would work and a 70 or 72 4stroke on the kit. I may lean towards the 80 4stroke magnum.

I have the GP 40 size Extra ARF... I have a Magnum .91 four stroke it in... It is one sweet flying plane... One of
my favorite setups....

I have a GP Extra 300S .40 size ARF and I put a Saito 100 four stroke in it!!

The airplane flies great and is very responsive. Also has unlimited vertical. You have to watch the airplane with this engine in it because it can get away from you if you are not careful. I also have one with an OS .91 four stroke, it is a little less wild but will perform the imac manuvers quite nicely.

The engine torque produces some interesting moments on take off....
Have to carefuly advance the throttle or prepare for a left roll... First time
I hammered the throttle about 10 feet off the ground I almost lost it.. Sure
is fun though...

You also have to watch the landing, it will slow down but if you slow down too much it will drop like a rock!!
