Hangar 9; Seagull; VMAR - One in the same?
You tell me...
Looking outside the USA, it appears that what we see sold here as Hangar 9 is in fact Seagull and so is VMAR. Interesting... Just two examples: http://www.martinsen-hobby.no/vare.a...N%20W/RETRACTS http://horizon.hobbyshopnow.com/prod...925&pc=HAN1925 http://www.martinsen-hobby.no/vare.a...Roulette%20.46 http://horizon.hobbyshopnow.com/prod...p?prod=SEA1050 This could put an interesting twist on the debate about which ARF manufacturer is the best. Especially if it turns out it is the same manufacturer... |
RE: Hangar 9; Seagull; VMAR - One in the same?
Hanger 9, Seagull and Vmar are not the same. For one thing, Hanger 9 ARFs are not made in Viet Nam. I've built all three and believe me the differences in quality are dramatic. As to the rest, Seagull and Vmar (and Pheonix) are made in Viet Nam and there are similarities, but Seagull is the better brand. The T-6 may be Seagull marketing Hanger 9 ARFs in other parts of the world, or maybe just that supplier using an available picture for their ad.
