Magic

I got my Magic in yesterday, wow what a good looking ARF. the covering looks great, no sags or wrinkles, the fit of the wing halves is perfect. Can't wait to get it together & go flying. I plan on using a TT36 pro for power, where should I set the cg? Thanks

Magic

If you haven't done a thread search yet on the Magic, I think it
would help with your cg other than what the mfg. list in the
manual. Also a friend in my club has one that he put in self
expanding insulation foam in the fuse behind the wing saddle.
He had read that the fuse tends to crack in that location.

Magic balance

Set the balance at 140 mm. With the plane trimmed to fly hands off in level flight the plane will climb when flown inverted. This is how you have to balance them to perform. The newer kits don't need the back of the fuselage or the rudder fin beefed up as the factory has made these mods already. To torque roll you may need more engine. I put a Thunder tiger 36 pro in mine and it didn't have the vertical I needed. I put a Thunder tiger 46 pro on the plane and it is closer to having the vertical power I need. I am still experimenting with props.
