Phoenix Su31 Progress
1 Attachment(s)
Almost ready for flight, Still waiting on a couple backordered servo's to come in. 4th picture attempts to show where I dremeled the bottom row of vents out. Came out good but to time consuming and nerve racking to do the rest just yet.
Any tips for installing a larger tank? I bought a Hayes 11oz tank which seems like it fits in there perfect except for the landing gear support seems to be in the way and causes the tank to be angled down in front. I could pad the front so it levels the tank but then am afraid that tank placement will be to high for the 7 o'clock mounting of the Saito 91. Also, how have people routed there antenna's on the Su31's? Equip: Saito 91, Graupner 12.5x7 3 Blade, Hitec Eclipse 6, Dubro 440 Control linkages. Estimated weight about 6.5. Ron |

Rlamb,
That looks super. I really like the 3 bladed prop. I have one with a Siato .72. It is a nice flying plane. Again, looks great. mike www.mikerc.com |
