RE: Power Line Hobbies
I sell these and fly them also. I currently fly their .40 size Cub. Flys great and has great flight characteristics due to the light weight of the plane. I have an OS .52 Surpass on mine and it flys with great authority.
I'm currently building the .46 Edge with an OS .70 Surpass in it. With the weight of this plane it should perform well. I've built all of their planes and sold quite a few. They fly great and are great looking. If there is any downfall, it's the poor instructions and a few pieces of missing hardware. I have local customers that have flown their 540 Edge (.90 size), .40 Mustang, and Eagle 3-D. The only thing I've heard is that they fly great. Need any additional information? You can e-mail me directly. Jim |

RE: Power Line Hobbies
I own an Eagle 3d from powerline. It only cost about $79, which is pretty cheap for an ARF. My expectations were not high, but it actually turned out to be a really nice plane. The landing gear is weak and bends easily, but otherwise it flies great.

RE: Power Line Hobbies
I also deal the Power Line Hobbies product line and have just about all of their planes flying right now.
I have the Eagle 3D with a 91 four stroke in it, the 23% Edge with a 3W 24 in it, a 40 size Edge with a Saito 72 in it, a 40 size cub with a Saito 56 in it, the TUT-40 Trainer (WOW WHAT A GREAT FLYING PLANE!!) As already mentioned, with the exception of the manuals, the planes are all very nice. And fly very well. Any questions, please feel free to email me as well!! [email protected] Bill |

RE: Power Line Hobbies
I had the Eagle 3D with a saito 82. It was a nice plane but the gear was terrible. It was always bending so I replaced with goldberg gear. Had problems with 2 sets of Goldberg gear breaking so I sold the plane. It flew great and was inexpensive.
