dp extra 330 pull pull

I am about to maiden my new extra dp. Just waiting for the weather to co-operate. One very light plane. had to put battery pack way back next to fin to get to balance with the moki 1.8. Using a pull-pull setup as he recommends. I was a little sceptical at first but his reasons seem to make sense. Anyone else use the pull pull? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I had the pull/pull set up and it worked out fine with a OS160 in the nose. It had great control, precise feel.It will be fine.
Enjoy,
Frank

RE: dp extra 330 pull pull

I maidened my extra the other day, stiff crosswind but growing impatient I flew anyway. Man this thing is light. Easily took off 1/4- 1/3 throttle. wind was tossing it aroud a bit. Surprised that I needed little to trim it out. Vurtually zero roll with knife edge, although tends to pitch to belly a bit ( I guess that means it is still a little noseheavy). easy unlimited vertical. just starting to try some 3d. Floats and floats on landing. It is a keeper.
Pull Pull working fine. this plane would balance fine with a ys 140.
