By the way, he doesn't use CA hinges. Had to throw that in for the topic.
You crack me up. LOL- good one.

I have to admit that I'm a long way away from doing a KE right after lift off with my Pitts. I'm just happy to get it going straight down the runway without going into a TR from a dead stop. On my first gas project thats exactly what happened. I didn't know about easing the throttle up. Heck, I just let it rip as I got her rolling just as I do on my other planes. Whew, I had the wild thing on my hands, but survived. I just wish I knew how to do that under control. :D

I'm building the new ultimate by great planes and will fly it in cold weather. What things would you suggest I do different ? What hinge will handle freezing weather? And I use tape with strands of cloth to cover the gaps. Thanks

is a ca hinge yellow or red? i got some in my mustang kit but they don't look like the ones in the manule?
