help, trying to find a certain airplane

Hello There,

Maybe someone can help me. This airplane was my first airplane, flew beautifully, lost it in a crash (mechanical failure in elevator) and I want another but I cannot seem to find it. I cannot remember the company that makes it, here is what I know:

Name: Jaguar (Somewhat of a semi-scale of the military jet nicknamed "Jaguar")
40 Size front mounted engine -- prop driven
ARF --> red white and blue color scheme
Tricycle gear
I think the company that makes this plane has U.S.A in the name though I am not 100% sure of this

If anyone knows anything about this aircraft, please contact me.

[email protected]

Thank you,

Michael

Could it be "Balsa USA". I think they also make airplanes.

This one is gonna be a long shot for sure! It should be a SEPECAT JAGUAR if its a military jet named Jaguar. Happy hunting ...

I had one too. I never wrote down the mfg. name, but I think it was one of the early ARF builders in the Orient. Super Flying Models or MiniCraft maybe.

Here's a pic if that jogs anyones memory.

Michael,

This plane was sold in Australia.
It was manufactured by a company called SF.
I think the company, (SF), was located in SE Asia.
It was available in 2 colour schemes.

Was doing a search this morning and found this thread, so I thought I would bump it back up.

DiscoDave, did you ever hear back from these guys?

http://www.mth.com.tw/htms-en/enindex.htm

I had one of these, and it was a real screamer. I had shoehorned a 61 FX in it. I believe they used to have a US distributor in the San Francisco area. The plane was also available in a camo scheme.

Would love to get a hold of another....

They also used to make the "Condor ARF" in (I think) 40, 60, & 80 size.

Thanks, Gary
