Seagull Models - Zero ARF

I just got a killer deal on this Seagull Models - Zero ARF at the hobby shop. I have been wanting a warbird for a long time but did'nt want to mess with the full scale retracts, dummy engines, and panel lines. This plane ended up being exactly what I was looking for.

Anyway getting to my question. would an O.S. .46LA with a pitts muffler be an adequate power source for this plane, or would my Thunder Tiger Pro .40 be a better choice?

I am not looking for vertical performance, but just enough for a few aerobatics and scale flight.

RE: Seagull Models - Zero ARF

Hi,

If you have only got a choice of these 2 go with the 46 LA, i have a Seguls Mustang P51 althou thier cheap and look on the cheap side they do fly well......... i fly that with a 46 LA and its flys ok and loops, rollls etc ok could do with a bit more upfront in power terms..... one thing you should do with all segull models is where you screw the wing bolts onto the wing, reinforce it with a small peice of plywood to stop crushing........ just drill out 2 holes soo the bolts go throu otherwise you might fly it one day and the wing comes down before the plane :)

Good Luck
