Cool ARF for an OS .46 FX

Anyone know a nice reliable ARF other than a trainer for an OS 46 FX ? It's either gonna be that engine or an OS .40 LA. I know those 2 engines are vastly different and would take different planes, suggestions for either motor would be great. I was thinking for the LA, since it is a reliable motor, somewhat weak in power, looking at a .25 kit for it. Any suggestions would be appreciated ! Thanks

My next plane after my trainer was a GP Easy Sport. This is one of the gentlest next step up from a trainer and the OS 46 would be a perfect match. Mine had a OS LA 46 on it which was good but the OS 46 FX is a little hotter than the LA. You'll find the easy sport gentle and forgiving yet when you're ready to crank it up, it will respond. I mean it's no pattern plane or 3d but it will give you lots of fun! It has a fully symetrical wing and is r
eally easy to put together. I flew mine till it was too oil soaked to stay together.

My second plane was the Easy Sport 40 which I flew with a 40 LA. Had lots of fun with it.

Hi,
A good second plane that is really fun to fly is Greatplanes Super Sportster MKII.
A .46 works great on this plane. I have one and I love it.

You don't say what type of trainer you have, if you have learnt to fly with a tric under cart, it would be good to change one thing at a time, flying a low wing is a lot diffrent to a high wing, so stay with a tric, get some stick time on the low wing, then go to a taildragger . As for motors, I think it is good to spend your money once. The FX has a lot of power and wiith power any 40-46 model if you fitted the LA soon you will be looking for more power and will have to outlay more cash. and for a planes Vmar make a jodel it has flaps and flys very well and later on if you up the control movments it great fun. The only other thing I would like to add is that if you aren't in a club is safer and cheaper to have a good instructior beside you when things go wrong.
By for now Ozi
