U Can Do 3D .40 size

After hunting all over the planet for a Twist, I decided to get a U Can Do 3D 40 from Great Planes. No one had the Twist in stock.
At one shop, I was 5 minutes too late! After speaking with a few of the more knowledgeable people in these shops, they said my best
bet would be this plane. Set the throws for low for just starting out with it and then, flip 'em up for the wild manuevers. I wanted something thats gonna be easy to land and will fly good at slow speeds. I am putting in a new Evolution .46 engine. One funny thing.
I'm used to flying electric and I have a .46 powered Arrow that I've been flying. I have never used an engine where your mounting it sorta upside down. Is this gonna be a problemo putting this ARF together? Isn't the exhaust from the muffler going to cover those two servos that are mounted towards the back of the fuse with oil?

No problem with the oil. Just wipe it off. The plane is great, but don't fly it too fast. They are not made for that. They do everything you can think of and all at about 20 miles per hour. I have a OS 70 in mine and it will hover at 1/3 throttle and pull out by just hitting the gas for 2 seconds.
This thing is a blast to fly.

Thanx for the fast tip. I don't think the .46 will get it going too fast. Model sure looks sharp!
I'll bet it has a wow factor when it flies inverted. I'm excited just breakin in the engine! LOL!!!!

One of the guys in my club has a .45 on his and it's fine. It doesn't have unlimited verticle, but it will hover and pull out without a problem.
Just remember not to fly too fast. These aren't sport planes where you can bore holes in the sky.
The control surfaces are way to big for that and you will fly it apart!
