Katana (Chief Aircraft) - which engine???

Yes, I know there are tons of Katana posts, however, I am still debating if I should use a Brison 2.4 or a OS 1.60fx on my Katana from Chief Aircraft. Has anybody flown both combinations and has any suggestions what's best?

Thanks and Regards
Rainer

Had the Katana w/os1.60, plenty of performance. I think it is built just a little on the lite/small side for the 2.4, I have a DP Edge with a 40cc ZDZ and thats a nice combo.

You should go with the 1.60. I think that the 2.4 also would be to much(if there is such a thing)Yeah it will pull out of a hover like a cat with a tail on fire but the rest of the handling could suffer.I've fitted a moki 1.8 to mine

RE: Katana (Chief Aircraft) - which engine???

I just finished putting one of the DP Katanas together, with a ST 2300. Is there anything I need to look out for before testing? I know that this is the worst plane I have ever had to mount the wings, or remove them. I know that there use to be some post on how to modify the fueslage where the top can be removed, can anyone help me with this.
