Phoenix Cap 232
 

Here are some pictures of my recently assembled Phoenix Cap 232. I have not flown it yet . It will probably be a couple of weeks before I do.

Looks real nice!
What kind of engine did you use?
I have a H9 Cap with an MDS 58 in her, a real fun plane to fly but have to keep airspeed up on landings.:D
I also have a Phoenix Funstar...it has a Magnum 46 in it and what a joy it is to fly,it's like flying a motorized kite..it will not stall!;)

sorry about the quality of the pictures. I have an Irvine .46 installed in the plane. I also have the Phoenix Giles & Sukhoi in which I have a Magnum .52 that I use in them. I have not weighed this plane but I think it is a little lighter than either the Giles or Sukhoi. The neat thing is that I paid a little over 200 dollars total for all three of these planes.

I finally got around to flying my new Cap this past weekend. Except for a touchy elevator the plane flew real well right from the start with only a couple of clicks on the up elevator to trim it out. After a few flights I realized that I had to decrease the amount of travel on the elevator as well as adding some expo to the elevators' low rate. The Irvine .46 still needs broken in more but all in all I was happy. I do think the .46 size motor might not be enough power for some flyers but for my flying style I'm happy with it.
