piper cub or decathlon

Hi,

I fly easily with high or low wing trainer. After my trainer experince ,I would like to purchase tail dragger.

I could not decide between Piper cub or Decathlon(.46 size )

What is the difference between these two planes ?Which one more suitable ?

Thanks

Not much difference other than airfoil. The Decathlon will handle the winds better, especially on landing. I like them both too.

If you like to "Fly Easily" get the cub (I recommend a clipped wing, they still float beautifully and IMHO fly much better)

A Decathlon has a very short tail moment which lends itself quite nicely to aerobatics, but can also lead to the plane snapping when you least expect it.

I also like them both, but if you're looking to just putt around the sky, and aerobatics are a second concern, the Cub would be my first choice.
