GP AT-6 Texan

Has anyone had any experience with a Great Planes AT-6 Texan, ie. Quality of manufacture and how do they handle in the air?

Check out this link. If your interested in a good condition used one let me know. I'm thinking of building the Top Flite kit.

RE: GP AT-6 Texan

Thanks for the info and help, the reason I wanted one is because I got to fly a T-6 last week-end, the plane was built in 1946, was restored. What a great flying plane. It was a real rush. I have always liked war birds, and have heard that the models usually mimick the full scale in flight characteristics. Was hoping for the best, maybe expecting too much. nocrashesyet I just might be interested. Thanks again guys.
