I agree 100% on the search engine , it simply dose not work at all ,
I would advoid the world p40 , friend had one , bad outline , weak gear ect .
Try VQ, I just got one , yes its a little more aroung $259 but check our Richs picture and flight of this plane , it is awesome

Steer clear of the World P40.
I had one. Worst plane in the WM inventory, despite having retracts. It was a weird flyer and the retracts were a lump of junk! Very weak and the wheels faced the wrong way anyway.
(Frankly if a model can't handle pneumatic units, then you're better off flying with fixed gear. Mechanicals are a real headache.)
There are better P40 kits around.
Another one to consider is the GSP P40, although you will probably want to paint it.
Power wise, the GSP version goes well with a Saito .65 or .72.
The Kyosho one was reasonable , if you can still find one around in a Hobby Shop somewhere, as Kyosho have stopped manufacturing their version. It came with fixed gear but if you wanted to install mechanical retracts, you could.
Best of luck anyway.

well i dont know much about any p-40 models but i think the VQ would be best.
And about that search engine, it realy is a waste of time, you need to cheak all the pages to find it, somtimes it will be at the end, other times in the middle, guess it goes in alphabetical order (even though there are things which have nothin to do with ur search).

You are better off spending your money on another P-40 ARF. The WM P-40 is not very good. I flew one, and it felt weird and didn't track straight. It has tiny 2" wheels, and on a smooth landing on a grass field, both retract housings broke at the base, probaby due to them being plastic and the wheels being so small. Spend some extra money and get the VQ P-40.
