Looking for a good biplane

I've been thinking about buying my first bi-plane. Any ARF that will fit in the back of my Ford Escape in one piece. Now I know some biplanes are more difficult to fly but I would like one that is less challenging yet still has a nice scale appearance. Any suggestions?

umm your not going to get far or have many choices if you want the plane to be in one peice the whole time you know you can take the wings off and if you don't go to home depot and get some PVC and what you need for your own plans on an aircraft transport carrier. wow thats one big sentence. you can get one of those 40 size oracle bipe

Don't know if it will fit, but try the C Goldberg Ultimate the blue and gold one. She flies great and lands like a trainer.

Check out Arizona models web site they have Se5a & Fokker DVII combat series arfs that I was thinking would fit the back of my Escape very nicely

RE: Looking for a good biplane

Hey guys, thanks for the quick feedback. After looking at some my club members trying to attach wings, wires, gussets, etc before flying their bipes I have really avoided them. I do have my Escape rigged to handle most any plane up to 80 inches.
The Goldberg Ultimate is one bipe that was suggested to me and while I haven't seen it fly, I have seen the Patrick Ultimate fly and it really looks like a winner. I really like the Tiger Moth and Pacific Aeromodels has one with a 50"span that caught my eye. Any info on this model?

The Kyosho PT-17 Stearman will fit your Escape and is a terrific flyer with a .46 2-stroke or a .56 Saito I state this from personal experience.
