The Magnum 1.20 is a very heavy engine. You might like the plane more with a Saito 91FS...

I'm a big believer in the thought that wing loading is more important than "pull power" with this type of plane...GO LIGHT!

Have fun with this sturdy airplane!

Heck go with a Mag .91... Check the threads, several guys running that setup.. I was going with the 1.20 but the increase in weight seems to overide the increase in power unless you need a lot of nose weight.... Saito 100 would seem to be a good choice also....

Doe's anyone have any pic's of the VectorFlight 540 66" and the Extra 300 58" with someone holding the plane so we can get a look at the difference in the size? As I was reading all of the threads on the VectorFlight planes a lot of guy's are running the .91 2S on both sizes. Has anyone got any pic's and info about this? No matter what the size, they are a bad looking plane:)

RE: Vectorflight: To good to be true?

I have been thinking about this.... the Mag 1.2 is over 30 ox, and the Saito 100 (exact same price) is about 21 oz....

So...the 1.2 with the weight or the samller engine to save almost 10 oz??

And Darn... No pickup at the office!;)

Oh well....

I have a Mag .91 4 stroke on my 4*60 and love that engine... I am just looking for unlimited power with a good balance.......

Can anyone tell me if the Sukhoi has a 2 piece wing? Also I'm thinking about putting an OS .91 four stroke on it, do you think this engine willbe enough for this plane?

You may have better luck posting in a thread where the Telemaster is the topic. I am sure you would find some good helpfull information there.
